Kate is a wonderfully talented designer who specialises in shawls, wraps and cowls.  Many of her designs are inspired by the popular TV and book series Outlander, but they are all completely practical, werable and flattering for today's knitters.  Ideal as a gift for the knitter in your life or a wonderful treat for yourself.
 
For this knitting kit Kate has transformed colours from the Cafe Collection into a generous Aran weight shawl design that is simple enough for beginner knitters, yet still has interest for the more experienced.  
 
The kit contains all the yarn needed to complete your shawl, a printed copy of the pattern (and a library copy for your Ravelry account) plus an exclusive Loch Ness Knitting cotton tote bag to hold your project in progress.
 
The yarn for this shawl is British Blue Faced Leicester Aran (Worsted) weight making this a cosy Autumn/Winter project.  Your kit includes 3x Earth, 1x Depths of Loch Ness and 1x Straw. The yarn is dyed using sustainable natural dyes from the Loch Ness Knitting Cafe Collection, which repurposes food waste from a local Loch Ness cafe for dye.
